Usually, cockroaches are harmless. As a matter of fact, cockroaches are found in almost all regions on earth, except in surroundings that are inhospitable to them. American Cockroach

They can grow up to 25mm in length. It has a reddish brown color and single stripe on the head. These creatures love the taste of liquor. Thus, they are often seen in bars or at home after party where beer, wine and alcohol was present. They can live for around 1 & half years, and have an incubation period of 6 to 8 weeks.

German Cockroach

The German cockroach sport a tan or brownish color, and 2 lighter stripes on the back of its head. It can grow up to 15mm in length. It is probably the fastest breeding among its cousins, giving birth to around 30 to 40 nymphs with an incubation period of 30 days. That is relatively fast, seeing one of them can multiply to 30,000 in just a year. They can live for around six months.

Oriental Cockroach

Among these 3, the Oriental cockroach is probably the biggest. It grows approximately 25mm in length. These critters are a dark brown or black color with a shiny body and move more slowly than the other species. They are often called the waterbug considering that they prefer dark, damp hiding places. These roaches are commonly seen in damp mulch or cellars. Incubation can last 2 months with an average of 15 eggs hatching &; they can each live for up to two years.
