
This group of exercises can indeed build you huge muscle in no time. One thing about calisthenic exercises is that they do not require home gyms or muscle building supplements to rip results. In this type of exercises, the body weight is usually the primary weight that is used. Though there are modifications that require weights, you can perform a number of calisthenic exercises absent weights or any gym equipment.
This exercises usually require no specialize room to execute. They can be performed in your office, in the jungle, a cell room, hotel room etc. However, if you want, you can always set up a room in your house to use as a gym. In your workout room, you can have equipment like the chin up bar though you can always improvise.
Pushups
Pushups are a group of calisthenic exercise that focuses to build the muscles in the chest area, deltoids, back muscles and triceps. There are a number of different pushups that can be used to work different muscles groups or increase intensity of a rep.
For instance, you can have a heavy book or some weight in your back as you push up or have your feet raised to say a chair or table. Doing three sets everyday is usually adequate to improve your upper body strength. You have to be consistent if you are to see any gains in muscles growth.
Chin Ups
This is a calisthenic exercise that works the chest muscles, back muscle and muscles in the arms and shoulder areas. You can do several variations just like the pushups to increase the intensity or work different muscle groups. Three sets are usually enough to rip you results.
Just like pushups, you need to perform them on a day to day basis to grow huge muscles. Again, you need not have any specialize equipment to perform this exercise though a standard chin up bar can be very effective. Number of repetitions you perform will mostly depend on your level of fitness.
Sit ups
This is also another way you could use to get fit and build strong abdominal muscles. What some like to refer to as the six packs. There are a number of sit ups variations which you can employ to increase the effect of each rep. You may need your sofa as leverage. Generally, with calisthenic exercises and proper diet, you do not need home gyms or muscle building supplements to build muscles.
