My young son had asked me what I could say about a shoot-to-kill order to a policeman. As a law enforcer, I find it hard to convince him of the right answer.
That question has always been bothering me although I have not used my service firearm on anyone yet. If the time comes, I also think that I should always be there for my family.
Naturally, I would not want to use a firearm as protection but a less lethal weapon would be enough to keep my family safe. With a Taser, I was within legal bounds to use it aside from its effectiveness as a defense gadget.
No matter the size of an attacker or how thick his clothing is, the force of the electric current from this less lethal weapon is enough to temporarily incapacitate him. For up to 15 feet, the two projectiles would discharge the current. When an assailant is just near, it can be used as a stun gun.
This weapon, when used in situations for self-defense and recorded on police files, will be replaced by a new device. Replacement will require presenting a police report regarding the incident.
The Taser C2 is a less lethal weapon than any handgun of the least caliber, but it is proven to cause temporary disability faster. It has a replaceable nitrogen cartridge that is responsible for its forceful voltage.
Just by the look of the Taser M26C, one could guess that it a high-caliber weapon. It is designed to allow the shooter to blast many times. And with its laser light, missing the aim would be remote.
And with the addition of a training DVD, training certificate, and metallic practice target to the M26C model, the Taser X26C is another choice. I only want to use a less lethal weapon such as any of these Tasers as a family self-defense tool.
